A: You raise them for your own franchise businesses by regularly supplying them; you cannot raise star levels for your neighbors franchises, this is something they have to do by supplying them.
Q: I already have 1 (or 2) franchises, how can I start another one?
A: Please take a look at your franchises menu, and you should be able to see the level requirement for the next franchise.
Q: I turned in a collection and did not get energy.
A: Not every collection gives you energy, you can see the reward you're going to receive from a collection right above the "Trade in" button.
Q: Energy/XP is not being added when I pick it up or when it vanishes from my screen, why?
A: Energy/XP is added automatically when it drops, not when you pick it up or when it vanishes from your screen.
Q: I keep seeing other posters refer to "quests", what are these?
A: "Quests" means the same thing as "goals", some may also refer to them as missions or tasks. These are the goals you receive in the game that have requirements that must be completed for a reward (such as unlocking a building), they also unlock further goals.
Q: I accidentally deleted my franchise HQ, what do I do?
A: Please refresh the game and you will find a new HQ in your inventory.
Q: Where do I get Hot Dogs?
A: From the Cinema, you can find the Cinema collection in the collections menu.
Q: My neighbor has not accepted my franchise business, can I cancel the request?
A: No you cannot
Q: I see items in the build menu (businesses, community buildings, decorations) that require a quest (goal), how do get that quest to unlock the item?
A: Please continue completing your current quests and you will get to the one that unlocks this item; quests have a fairly linear progression and you won't miss it, you just have to keep playing
Q: What is a Brownstone?
A: A Brownstone is a type of house and can be found in the housing tab in the Build menu.
Q: Why is my max energy not increasing?
A: The current maximum energy limit is 30.
Q: How do I get snow for my city?
A: You have to complete 2 quests (Winter Wonderland 1 and 2), then buy the snow covers in the build menu; it's a decoration.
Q: I started a franchise in a neighbor's city, how do get my Headquarters?
A: If you have already completed the quest where you start a franchise in Sam's city you will find it in your inventory, if you have not yet completed that quest you will have to wait until you do before you receive your Headquarters.
*Note: your neighbor has to accept your franchise in order for you to receive the HQ
Q: I placed an expansion near city limits and now I can't use the entire square, how can I scroll to it?
A: What you can currently see (whether expanded or not) is the entire city map; you cannot expand beyond what you can see. Please keep that in mind when placing an expansion.
Q: I unlocked an expansion with City Cash, why can't I pace it?
A: You still need enough coins for it, unlocking an expansion with city cash just removes the permit requirement; you're essentially buying enough permits to expand, but you still need coins. Expansions require permits and coins.
Q: I have several franchise locations that are telling me to "remind" that neighbor to open, does this mean that my franchise is still waiting to be accepted/declined?
A: Not necessarily, if that store has at least one (1) star it means that it has been accepted, but that neighbor did not yet collect the last sale you sent them; feel free to remind them at your discretion.
Q: I didn't get the Penthouse Tower when I collected the daily bonus on day 5, is this a bug?
A: No it's not, you have a chance of winning the tower on day 5, you are not guaranteed to win it; if you do not win the tower you will receive a coin bonus like any other day.
Q: What is the max number of franchises neighbors can place in my city?
A: 20

A: No, there are only 2 item rewards for quests in the game: a gray bunny, and a museum. Everything else is not awarded for completing the quest, it's unlocked and available for purchase.
